BLUETOOTH
Proximity Marketing is recognised as the localised wireless distribution of advertising content within a defined area – but EGW IT takes it one step further! By developing systems that compress information to a fraction of its original size, EGW IT is able to deliver an exciting ‘multimedia experience’ for both our clients and the recipient.
EGW IT’s active transmission systems (BlueLite Points), enable us to not only design a proximity marketing campaign with a client, but also deliver it directly to their target audience – and then report back with post-campaign statistics.
Temporary campaigns and permanent installations deliver multi-media via Bluetooth connections. The messages are sent to mobile phones and other Bluetooth devices within certain proximity; the reception of the content is the choice of the mobile users. Our BlueLite Point system is capable of capturing all active Bluetooth devices within a 300m. range, enabling EGW IT to send the recipient free images, sounds, video, multimedia brochure, Java/Flash games and other multimedia experiences.

With the vast majority of the population now carrying mobile telephones, (latest figures put the figure at 160% population saturation in the UAE), many companies are recognising the benefit of communicating their campaigns via mobile technology.
