Ras al Khaimah and Dubai based Eureka Group World Racing (EGWracing) is fine tuning their two new high performance sailing craft, EGW36 one design match race, in preparation for a campaign in this weekend’s DOSC International Open Winter Series.

Innovation is a watchword of EGWracing and the release of three dramatic 2008 videos demonstrates the company’s ambition to remain at the forefront of the international sailing fraternity.

After some hard fought racing in the Olympic Series 49ers - one of sailing’s fastest, most athletic and dynamic classes - Niccolo’ Bertola (the official skipper for the EGST) wins the 2008 Italian Championship.

As the post-event analysis of the 2008 Maktoum Sailing Trophy campaign begins, Francesco Rocco – Chairman of the Eureka Group – took time out to congratulate the entire EGST for their fantastic efforts throughout the competition.

While the Cougar Holdings boat, in its’ distinctive black livery and contrasting white logo, was locked into a fierce battle in the highly competitive Division 1, the Easy Property Group (EPG) boat, skippered by 20 year old prodigy Niccolo’ Bertola, was the craft generating all the attention in Division 3.

“A party to match any thrown by an America’s Cup challenger,” was the way the press described the spectacular event that launched the EGST’s 2008 Maktoum Sailing Trophy campaign.
